Delete your CleanNile account
You can delete your account and its data yourself at any time, in the app or on this page.
What is deleted
- Your login, profile, points, badges and learning progress.
- Your event registrations, including the contact and demographic details you gave.
- Your notifications and device notification tokens.
- Reports that were not published, and their photos.
What is kept without your name
- Published pollution reports stay on the public map as environmental records, with the link to your account removed.
- Messages you sent in event chats stay in the conversation, shown as "Former volunteer".
- Totals for past events, such as how many volunteers attended, are not reduced.
Can't sign in?
- Email info@savethenile.org with the subject line CleanNile account deletion request.
- Include the email address used for your CleanNile account so the Save the Nile team can verify the request.
